Wellness Wanderlust: Could psammotherapy be the next new wellness trend for 2023?

Psammotherapy is a therapeutic treatment that uses heated sand to address a number of health issues. It involves burying the patient in hot sand for a specified period, which helps in relaxation and relieves pain and inflammation. The heat from the sand penetrates deep into the muscles and joints, providing a soothing effect.

Lying on a special tilting table, it is believed that by enveloping the body in hot sand, the body is slowly warmed, which can help to reduce inflammation, detoxify, stimulate the lymphatic system as well as relieve muscular/arthritic pain and encourage deep relaxation. 

During the treatment, guests can also choose to experience the meditative and calming power of a Sound Bath while they are lying in the sand and follow the experience with a signature massage.
